Privacy Policy

V2OB respects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the website handles necessary information when you visit and use V2OB.

1. No Registration or Login Required

V2OB does not provide user registration or login functionality.

We do not establish:

  • User accounts
  • User profile pages
  • Download records
  • History
  • User profiles based on behavior

You do not need to provide your name, phone number, or other identifying information to use the main features of the website.

2. Data Controller

The data controller for the V2OB service is:

V2OB

Legal Correspondence Address:

Rue du Rhône 65, 1204 Genève, Switzerland

Privacy Contact Email:

main@v2ob.com

3. How We Handle Submitted Links

When you submit a video or image link, V2OB temporarily processes the link for the time necessary to complete the current request, in order to identify the source platform and retrieve available media information.

V2OB:

  • Does not write submitted links to a database
  • Does not create a link history
  • Does not associate links with user identities
  • Does not use links to build advertising or behavioral profiles
  • Does not proactively disclose user-submitted links

After the current request is complete, V2OB does not retain the link as application data.

4. How We Handle Retrieved Content

Retrieved content may include:

  • Content title
  • Video URL
  • Video cover image
  • Image URL
  • Other public information returned by the source platform

These results are used only for preview, copying, and download operations on the current page.

V2OB does not write results to a database, does not create a history, does not host videos or images from results, and does not proactively publish user-retrieved content.

Source platforms may have their own caching, access logs, and data retention mechanisms. Such activities are the independent responsibility of the source platform and do not constitute V2OB storage.

5. Technical Logs

To maintain website security, identify malicious requests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure service stability, the system may generate limited technical logs, such as:

  • Request time
  • Request path
  • Response status
  • Browser and device type
  • Network address information
  • Basic error information

V2OB does not proactively write complete submitted links or retrieved content to technical logs. Technical logs are retained for a maximum of three days, after which they are automatically deleted or overwritten. Technical logs are not used to build user profiles or to save user history.

6. Browser Local Information

To provide a basic website experience, V2OB may save a small amount of local information in your browser, such as:

  • Language preference
  • Theme mode
  • Interface preferences
  • Temporary security verification status
  • Necessary interaction state

This information is typically stored on your device and does not represent V2OB creating a user account or server-side personal profile. You can view or clear this information through your browser settings.

7. Videos, Images, and External Links

When the page displays video covers, images, video previews, or download links, your browser may send requests directly to the corresponding content source addresses. The source site may therefore receive common web request information, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and the requested media address.

These requests are completed directly by your browser with the corresponding source and are subject to the source site's own privacy policy and data processing rules. V2OB does not control the logging, caching, or data retention methods of source sites.

8. Email and Legal Communications

If you proactively contact V2OB via email, we may retain your email address, email body, email attachments, communication time, and reply and processing records.

Collaboration communications, user support emails, copyright notices, and other legal documents may be retained separately as needed for communication, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Emails and legal documents are not submitted link data and are not subject to the three-day retention period for technical logs. We will not use your email address for marketing activities unrelated to the matter you submitted.

9. Information Sharing

V2OB does not sell or rent user personal information.

Limited information may be disclosed in the following necessary circumstances:

  • Responding to legally binding requests
  • Addressing security incidents, attacks, or malicious abuse
  • Protecting the legitimate rights and interests of users, V2OB, or the public
  • Handling support, collaboration, or legal matters proactively submitted by users

Any disclosure shall be limited to what is reasonably necessary to fulfill the corresponding matter.

10. Information Security

V2OB takes reasonable technical and managerial measures to protect information, including:

  • Not establishing a user account database
  • Not persistently storing submitted links and retrieved results
  • Limiting the retention period of technical logs
  • Controlling necessary administrative access
  • Identifying abnormal requests and malicious access
  • Using secure network transmission methods
  • Reducing unnecessary data collection

However, no internet transmission or online system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Under applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or objection to processing of your personal information that V2OB still holds.

Because V2OB does not offer user accounts, does not save download history, does not save history, and does not write submitted links and retrieved results to a database, we are generally unable to retrieve already completed requests.

Privacy requests may primarily concern technical logs, email communications, or legal documents still within their retention period. To make a request, please send an email to:

main@v2ob.com

To avoid disclosing information to the wrong party, we may need to verify a reasonable connection between the request and the relevant emails or records.

12. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy due to changes in functionality, technology, or applicable law. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be reasonably indicated through website page notices.
